Every Christmas SJB remembers those less fortunate than ourselves. It has been a long standing tradition of our school to support the homeless. Our Big £1 Ballot is our fund raising drive to raise money so as we can buy much needed hats, gloves, underwear, toiletries, fleeces etc
Our children will shop locally to buy as much as we can. Last year we concentrated on 21 women who use services on the Andersonstown Road.
During our Open Night the children proudly wrapped the gifts for the women, mindful that it may have been the only present the women received.
Many of our children also gave their own money. If you would like to buy a ballot to support this worthy cause, please send in £1 and state if you would like in the draw for the adult hamper or for the children's hamper. There will be additional smaller prizes for the children after the winning ticket for the big hamper has been drawn. Please see attached the contents of the hampers. These are on display at the front entrance of the school.
