Key Worker Children-Supervision Arrangements in St. John the Baptist PS

23rd Mar 2020

  • Pupils to arrive to school for 8.55am and to leave at normal school times for relevant age groups (P1-P2: 2pm; P3: 2.30pm; P4-P7: 3pm), with all finishing at 2pm on Fridays.

  • Parents must drop off and collect children at the external P2 room entrances. There will be NO access through the main reception of the school at any time.

  • Children must come to school in full uniform.

  • Children should bring a packed break and lunch (strictly no nuts/ nut-based foods) as well as their own (labelled) water bottles.

  • Children must bring any equipment they wish to use during the day. This could include learning pack work, books or electronic devices. Due to the on-going situation, this must also include any pencils, colouring pencils etc.

  • Children will be seated at a distance from their peers and asked to remain in seats due to social distancing guidance. It will be important that parents discuss this with their children in advance of sending them in to school.

  • Parents should consider sending children in with their own hand sanitiser to be kept at their desk, though children will be escorted to routinely wash their hands.
