RIBBONS OF THANKS & HOPE INITIATIVE
We are appealing to all members of our school community to join us in this initiative. We are asking you to tie a ribbon on the school railings to thank key workers- in the health service, food stores and elsewhere- for looking after all of us during this unprecedented time. We also hope the gesture will send a message of hope that our lives can return to normal soon, allowing children to return to the safe sanctuary of school life and families and friends to be reunited without fear of the virus.
Ribbons of varying colours (already cut into pieces of appropriate length) are available from the school foyer area every day (Monday to Friday) between 9am and 2pm.
We are encouraging children to write their names onto the ribbons before tying them on the railings.
During this time of restrictions, we would ask that you make your trip to the school a part of the daily exercise routine or en route to a necessary journey.
Thank you.
