SJB is now a GAA ‘5 Star Centre’

St John the Baptist PS is one of only eight schools in Belfast and 16 schools in Antrim to be labelled a GAA ‘5 Star centre!’

An exceptional achievement for our school. This programme is only in its infancy, but it will help our teachers further promote Gaelic Games.

We will receive resources, coaching and two of our teachers will be trained on how to deliver a 5 Star GAA scheme within their respective key stage.

Upcoming GAA fixture dates: 

1) ‘The Raffo Cup’ and ‘Girls Championship’ both start in March.

2) The Boys’ ‘All County Indoor’ Final will be in February.

3) Our Camogs play the ‘Indoor Camogie Championship’ this Wednesday at De La Salle College 11am.
