Afterschool Activities

In St John the Baptist PS, our children are offered a wide range of after school clubs and activities which many will avail of during the course of a school year.

The after-school sports clubs will include:

  • Girls' Gaelic Football
  • Boys' Gaelic Football
  • Camogie
  • Hurling
  • Netball
  • Soccer
  • Multi-Sports

In addition to these clubs, there are a range of other clubs which children enjoy throughout the year, including:

  • Space Club
  • Lego Club
  • Accelerated Maths Club
  • TTRS Club
  • Reading Eggs
  • Maths Seeds
  • Freckle Club
  • Philosophy Club

Whilst most of these clubs are sport or interest-based, a number are focused on academic development and will involve small group tuition support for the children involved.
